ideas on my symptoms lyme?

I had a bull's eye rash about 11/2 yr ago I did not see a md and I thought it was a spider bite it went away after a couple of months. during this time I have been withdrawing off of benzodiazepines, klonipin after a 18 yr addiction. I found out I have hashi's disease a past cmv hhv 6 exposure a lesion in my lower spine which led me to a cancer doctor I am negative for cancer

then I found out due to further body deterioation I have cervical spondylisis and degenerative joint disease in my spine

over the last month I had a severe allergic reaction to hair dye, that caused my scalp to swell and break out in lesions and my neck lymph nodes to swell. since that time I have had severe burning on my scalp and really bad occipital headaches, neck stiffness and pain. I also have endured horrible burning pain on my skin which keeps me up at night and I cry the pain is so bad. I feel like I am going to die.

I don't know if I have lyme disease because of the possiblity of overlapping symptons and diseases. I have chronic fatigue I have to take b 12 shots and pain pills just to function.

I saw a lyme md in april and he said I may have lyme disease with the igenex test and exposure to babesia. I took 1 month of artemesia and seem to improve after one month then stopped it because it said you only have to take one month's worth for babesia. I have not treated my lyme with herbs yet. I have a phone consult with another lyme md in october.

I am afraid to take antibiotics for lyme because my medical md did a lyme test and he disagrees and does not think i have lyme and that taking the antibiotics would wipe my gut out. the lyme disease md i saw knows my medical md and he was upset my his statements and refused to see me any more. he was close to where I live and know I would have to travel 4 hrs or more to see a lyme md.

all this stress landed me in a mental hospital with suicide thoughts in may so any ideas that could help me would be appreciated. I have never suffered like I am suffering now. I am scared I am going to be crippled

I'm sorry you're feeling so bad. Illness is just as taxing on your mind as it is your body, and worrying about this stuff can drive you crazy. You had a bullseye rash, a + Igenics test, and many symptoms...that's pretty indicative of Lyme. I would call the llmd Monday, tell them you made a mistake, beg them to take you back, and take the abx, or herbs. If you're suffering they can't refuse to see you over a disagreement...can they? You'd think the llmd would be used to Dr.'s disagreeing with them.

Hopefully others on here will be able to give you some ideas to ease the symptoms, or self treat while you get it figured out. This forum is a great place for support, and knowledge.

I would agree with Sooverthis about the bulls eye rash (Lyme is the only thing that causes this and it's the skin form of the disease - no doubt that you have Lyme) and with the need for you to get into treatment. Lyme can certainly mimic or set a boy up for each of those conditions/diseases that you have listed.

Many take the abx for long periods of time without ruining their gut, but if you would prefer to use herbs, they can take care of these infections as well.

Don't ever give up hope - you can heal.

I am so very sorry you have been through all this Mystery....and landing in a a hospital due to mental issues is horrible. I am confused as to why the LLMD would be surprised with what this other doctor is saying. Why would he be upset with you and not want to treat you anymore? That doesn't make any sense to me. It's not your fault what your doctor said. I would try to find another LLMD if it were me. I am not one who would beg anyone for anything. You know, when my husband, Toby, got his diagnosis I did my own research and we found our own way of healing without the help of these doctors. Others on this forum have done that using herbs and other modalities to heal. The only one who has done anything to help Toby heal is a chiropractor...that's it. Actually, there is another chiro doc who has used a laser and a crystal on Toby. So far, we don't plan on rendering the services of any other doctor for his Lyme unless he is still having a hard time with his arms and hands next year. ALS is a severe diagnosis and we found the help on our own. If we totally put our trust in the doctors, I don't know if Toby would even be alive now.
