Does this sound like lyme?

I have been having the following symptoms for the last 6 months and have seen a dozen doctors who have been unable to figure out whats wrong. I have had a cat scan and mri done, both were clear. I saw an internist last month who suggested i test for lyme disease and it came back positive for band 41 (igg and igm) and indeterminate for band 23 (igm only). I am currently waiting for the results of another lyme test and testing for co-infections such as bartonella. ehrlichia, and babeosis. I had a regular blood culture done to check for other possible bacterial infections and it came back clear.

Symptoms:
- Staticy vision, almost like watching things on a broken tv set (saw eye dr and he said all nerves, retina etc look normal)
-Trouble focusing eyes (difficult to focus on ppl during conversation)
-head tremors
-buzzing feeling inside
-ear popping, feels like fluid inside ears (ENT said ears look clear)
-Slight ringing in the ears
-anxiety (panic attacks at onset of symptoms but those have calmed down)
-feeling of imbalance
-head feels heavy
-jaw pressure
-heart palpitations and rapid heart rate from slightest activity like walking up a flight of stairs

I have been diagnosed with everything from labyrinthitis to vestibular migraines to anxiety and every doctor tells me they have never heard of my symptoms so im just curious if anyone else has had anything similar. I have been on doxycycline for almost 3 weeks and havent noticed any difference in symptoms whatsoever.

Welcome to our forum!! You will find a lot of information and very helpful people on here .

Can I suggest you read the 'New to Lyme? ... Start here!' thread on the top of the Lyme page. It is packed with very valuable information on Lyme and coinfections, symptoms, different treatments, detoxing, interesting links, etc... Very worthwile going through it.

Most of us had all kind of diagnoses, or just none, went from dr to dr, without getting any help. Also

I have all of your symptoms (except for the first one, but I have other visial distortion). So to me it sounds very familiar...

chrisnj is already sending you some names of drs    so you can already get started. If you want more names, you could start a new thread 'Seeking LLMD in _____', and enable your email address so that people can send you pm's with the required information.

Testing for Lyme and coinfections is not reliable at all, a good LLMD should be able to make a diagnosis based on clinical findings if the tests come back negative. 3 weeks of Doxy is not enough as treatment at all... but it's a start in anticipation of finding a LLMD. Please don't let it linering on. What's the dosage of Doxy you're taking now? Not LLMD's often prescribe dosages that are too low to do anything.

I have one week left of the doxy. I was hoping I'd see SOME sort of improvement from the antibiotics but so far nothing. I'm waiting for the results of another lyme test and a test for co-infections which should be in next week and from there ill probably need to see an LLMD.

Yeah I'm starting to see that it's definitely not going to be enough :( Hopefully this next set of blood results can give me some answers but I will definitely be looking into an LLMD after that. Thanks again for all your advice :)
