It looks like I may have to take the herbal route due to problems with antibiotics.
Does anyone on this site guide members regarding this route?

Using herbs to heal from these infections is much like using abx in that each of us usually needs something a bit different, although with herbs, many times there is a core protocol that can be followed and small changes can be made or herbs added to it.
Once you decide either what Practitioner you wish to use, then you can see which protocol they use, or you can choose your protocol and see if you can find a Practitioner near you that will use it.
Or you can use a Naturopathic doc, and they use their knowledge of their meds (slightly different than what Herbalists use) and they have their own ways of dealing with these infections.
You can see what I used - different than most, but it worked very well for me. Many here use Buhner's herbs and are having good success. Others use Cowden's protocol (mainly for those with high Vitamin D levels though), or Byron White's formulas. There is also Zhang's, which is Chinese Medicine, and I'm sure there are others that I have missed.
I hope this helps you get the ball rolling!

Yes, Traveler, this does help. Do you think anyone will get back to me on a LLND or do I have to do my own research? Do they stay somewhat hidden, too?

Naturopathic docs aren't under the same scrutiny as regular LLMD's. But I don't know enough about
them to know if they need to know much about
the diseases before they can treat them effectively.
You might want to call a couple of them in your area and ask some very pointed questions. I would also encourage you to continue to look on the Lyme forums for more leads. I went through my contacts and didn't find any Naturopaths in the two states you mentioned.
I'll post on my Facebook page to see if anyone that I know knows of one. Hopefully though someone will come through with some leads soon!
