Hi,

After a lot of research, it looks like I have been living with lyme disease since childhood, but was never tested for it. I have now decided to investigate, but I need to find a good doctor in the bay area. Does anyone have any recommendations ?

bump - up sorry cyber but I think we need more information bay area....where :) ? I would edit that in your title as well. We have the bay area east coast, west coast etc. State would help too!

about lyme, my dad got diagnosed with it last month, after an apparent stroke; it looks like he had it for at least
20 years :(( . His doctor in Europe suggested this may have gotten transmitted to the entire family. My sister tested positive a week ago :( ...

The title caught my eye, as this is the area that I live in... hopefully someone can recommend a specific doctor....

But I've dealt w/ several of my health issues over at UCSF - and they are wonderful. I would highly recommend that you at least check into it....

I'd try using MD junction and go to the Lyme forum. They have referrals.
