Local Support Group

Good Eve To ALL ~

This is the 3rd attempt to write and post, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Although newly test positive (Wed.) I've been in touch with and met the couple who leads the local LD support group. Although this has been very new to me, just about a month, these people have been extremely supportive, caring, knowledgable and super kind! They know what's going on as they both have been dealing with this for a long time.

That being said, I strongly suggest if you have a local LD support group, that you look them up. It could only help.

I attend one here and it has been a very nice group. I look forward to the monthly meetings. It's a good way to learn more about treatments, especially if it's a group open to alternatives like mine is.

What I did was search on the web for LD and my hometown. My local group was in the results.

I am not sure if there is any other LD support group in your area. I hope you find what you need, and soon. Support is so necessary on this path we are on.
