I let the Lyme/co's get the best of me earlier this evening and made a post suggesting I should not have come here.  Well, that's not what I really feel.  This is a great support community and right now I have no intention of leaving.

So I offer my apologies to anyone who read my (now deleted) post...

I haven't read the post (other time zone, I was sleeping), but I'm sure glad you stay... your knowledge is very valuable to us, and I'm sure we can be valuable to you too smilewinkgrin

Hope you're coping with the ongoing digestive problems...

Razzle,

I've read some of your past posts and you are so needed and valuable to us here! Yep, you are also allowed to be who you are and we (me) are okay with that. As for your appology, glad you're not leaving!

I often think to myself I'd like to make a sign/pendant to wear saying something like,

"Forgive my foot/mouth, I am struggling with Lyme disease and yes, it IS in my head, too!"

I now realize I do have SOME accountability for my actions, but not ALL, as this stuff inside of me is busy doing some awful things to my brain. Doesn't make it right when I say/do something I regret later, but at least understanding WHERE/WHY this is happening sure helps a lot!

You are welcome here, through good and not so good times, and soooo happy you are staying! I pray you have a good day, filled with joy and laughter.

I'm really happy that you have chosen to stay though!! You've been with us for a long time, and I for one would miss you!! You've helped so many on this forum, including me.

I'm so very sorry that you have been going through such a rough time lately. I remember you saying that you were having treatment issues again. I hope that it all settles down soon.

Please do take care of yourself.

Thanks Trav... The whole thing was entirely me and my lousy response to countryair's post...but I've deleted the lousy post I made, and hope to put the whole thing behind me. I'm ashamed I let the Lyme/co's get to me like that.

We all have bad days, and being able to apologize only shows that you aren't afraid to admit that you don't know it all.

Let me know if I can do anything, okay? I don't know of anyone that has every had an issue with you, so we all want you here!

Razzle, I'm very new here. But I've already seen so much love, compassion, and strength. I have no idea about the conversation in question, but I can certainly add maturity and humbleness to the list of what makes this community so great. It takes a person who is strong, yet humble, to apologize and I am thankful that a person of your strength and humbleness is a part of this group. Even in the midst of a battle, you stood up and did what you felt was right.

I appreciate that. Thank you. And thanks for staying. I look forward to learning from you. :)
