Question on brain lesions after TBD treatment

Hello. Have any of you had diminished brain lesions in your MRIs after being under treatment for Tick Born Diseases (TBD)?

Before I knew I had Lyme, I had an MRI done and they found some white lesions in my brain. My Neurologist called them freckles and said they were normal. I imagine that as the TBD progressed in my body while I sought treatment, that they got bigger. I am hoping that now that I have been under treatment, that they disappear or get smaller. I am concerned because most of my current symptoms are Central Nervous System (CNS) and cognition related. I am a big hypochondriac and fear that these symptoms are due to the brain lesions getting bigger and bigger from Bartonella and what Lyme may have done in there too.

Any feedback to what you have experienced is greatly appreciated.

I am sorry to hear that you too have brain lesions. Because the lesions in the first MRI were considered "normal" neither my doctor nor the neurologist that I saw earlier in the year have scheduled me for a follow-up. Truth be told, I am scared to get another one because of all the symptoms that I have that are neuro related. My experience with the neurologist who is supposed to be the expert was terrible. She doesn't believe that Lyme or that a tick disease can cause lesions or neuro symptoms. She said that whatever I had was not a neurological illness and that she could not help me. If I was to go back and the lesions have grown I have little to no hope that they will be able to do something. I am praying that the antibiotics that I am taking now and the herbs that I have started to take help me.

The worst right now are severe headaches (like Aseptic meningitis), memory loss, brain inflammation, nerve spasms, and these electrical waves in my head that are like electrical shocks but that don't hurt. I am aware of them because my ears ring for a microsecond and my eyesight "whites-out". It only happens for a microsecond but is enough to scare the daylights out of me. It happens when I am asleep too and wakes me up. Although the ear sound last very little, I can hear it as the sound increases to its loudest point, then when it gets to the loudest point is when my eyesight goes white for a moment. At the most, it lasts maybe a 10th of a second if that.
