My probiotics bottle says to take 3 times daily. Do I still take them 3 times a day along with antibiotics twice a day? If so then I just need to spread them apart by 2 hrs right? I just want to be sure I'm doing this right.

Also I am probably driving everyone nuts with my vien questions obsession but I can't help to notice more and more viens popping up that were not there before. And when I have these random pains all over my body throughout the day they always seem to be right where there is a vien. Which makes me wonder if the pain is coming from my viens and that there is something else wrong. So if anyone else has this same thing that would make me feel better. Or maybe some other thoughts on this??

Thanks for all the possible prego congrats! I took a test today and it was negative but it may just be to soon. Then again the lyme could just be messing up my periods as well. I am hoping I am not because I would really like to be over this before putting my body through another baby but we will see....

YES! Please do!! As long as you take the probiotics 2 hours away from the abx, it will work well!

Random pains is exactly what Lyme can cause in many people!! But that in no way means that you don't have issues with the blood in your veins.

Lyme creates hypercoagulability (thick blood) in some people. Have you been tested for this or are you on anything that is supposed to thin your blood? This would actually be quite helpful, as it would thin the blood so that it won't have such a hard time traveling through your veins. If your hands and feet are cold frequently no matter what you do, this can be a sign of hypercoagulability.

I agree that it would be better if you could wait on the pregnancy, but babies are soooo wonderful!! I'm sure you know what I'm talking about since you said "another baby"!

Most people I've talked to take their probiotics at bedtime so they have all night to establish, but I don't know if 3 at once would be useful or not. Someone here will know the timing between antibiotics.

When I was so ill in my 20s, my cycle was off, so you could be having that too.

I have the vein issues too HM - it is very common! And don't stop asking questions! You need to know the answers, and it will help others too who likely have the same concerns! tongue

HallieMae, are you checking your blood pressure daily? When you go see your doctor it would be helpful for him/her if you had a copy of your daily blood pressure taken over an extended period. Taking the blood pressure at the doctor's office only shows a snapshot of your BP at that one point in time. You taking it every day will tell your doctor if the issue is blood pressure related, or like Traveler said- hypercoagulability. Either way and for peace of mind, you should have your doctor run some tests. They can also do an ultrasound of your arteries to make sure there are no blockages or complications in your veins or arteries.

How are you doing with salt? Salt has been known to cause similar effects.

Traveler- Do you think it is possible that the pain always being where a vien is located is just a coincidence? The weird thing about these pains is that they are not really in joints or muscles but just the randomest places and it doesn't really fit with anything. Usually they are pretty sharp then gradually fade away. Or sometimes that are dull and constant. One second it might be in the top of my tigh and the next on the underneath side of my forearm and then in my jaw.

Also I don't believe I have been tested for anything with my blood. The LLMD hooked something up to my finger and this test show me having very good circulation but I don't see how having that thing on my finger for 3 mins could have actually determined that so I don't know.

I was taking a small dose of aspirin before b/c of my worries, but I then convinces myself that I didn't need it since I didn't see any change. I was thinking of trying the Japanese Knotweed again?

And yes i have two baby girls already :) One is 3 and the other is only 10 months. So I would prefer to wait awhile. But everything happens for a reason I suppose so we will see!

My veins would just straight up hurt and ache. And a lot more spider/varicose veins. They are disappearing slowly though! My veins would be big, blue and bulgy. Esp in my palms, my ankles, the back of my knees and my chest.

The pain you are describing actually sounds like nerve pain, meaning Neuro Lyme or Bartonella.

Medical technology is amazing - they can clamp a little thing on the end of a person's finger and tell how much oxygen is in their blood too!

"Trying" a bunch of things randomly has gotten quite a few members in trouble over the years that I have been here. It's best to do your research to be sure it's what you need. If you need that aspirin, then by all means take it! But if you don't know if you really need it, then I would encourage you to not take it.

Awww!! I had one boy and one girl, married a man who also had one boy and one girl - although they were already adults by the time I came into their lives. Still didn't change too much - we are good friends now! If you are pregnant, there are some things you have to do so that you are protecting that precious unborn child, but no need to cross that bridge until we need to!
