Are you detoxing and using the detoxing soaks? The Epsom Salt in the bath will help with the muscle issues. Epsom salts have been used for many, many years for muscle sprains, strains and tight, cramping muscles!!

Why not try adding in the foot soak instead then? Some people can do the full bath soaks daily and some can't - so please do be careful!!

Watch for the massages - as good as they may feel - as they could set off another herx reaction. As the muscles are massaged, it releases toxins.

about the Terminalia Chebula, I've not heard that it can break down the biofilm before, but I surely haven't studied Chinese Medicine!! All I can find on it on the sites that I have come to find fairly trustworthy is: "Astringes the Lungs and large intestine; descends Lung and large intestine Qi; eases the throat; stops coughing."

Can I ask where you read that it helps to break down biofilms? What a tool that can be in the fight to get healthy!!

It's a good thing that you have a doc looking at the possibility of mold being an issue for you. I've read how that can really stop all of your healing until you are detoxed from that!

Remember that with Neuro Lyme, the nerves are sending/receiving mixed up signals. I used to have troubles holding on to things I wanted to and letting go of things that I no longer wanted in my hands. Seemed like I had to concentrate to get my muscles to cooperate a lot of times. And sometimes I would concentrate on them and nothing would happen, but that was mainly on my legs, not my hands/arms.

I would really appreciate being able to read that article, but know all too well how a person can get so overwhelmed with information while trying to heal.

OK Traveler, Google - Terminalia Chebula Lyme Disease. There are several sites that have some info. In particular, I clicked on Destroying relapsing LD Biofilm symptoms-MD Junction. Also, How to quickly clear out Lyme Disease Toxins, then scroll down to -There are three strategies for helping the immune system to eliminate toxins effectively. There are others. It just takes a while to wade through them all.
I plan to talk to my Dr. on Monday about this herb. Let me know what you think. ggmolly

Terminalia chebula is also known as haritaki and is one of the fruits that make up the triphala formula so it's great for regulating the digestion and bowels and has shown to break down biofilm.

I know one of the members here was taking it as part of her Lyme protocol but I haven't seen her on in a while. I did remember a few people posting how it's helping to regulate their digestive system.

Thanks rowingmom, I'm planning to ok it with my dr. then give it a try. I promise to post results if I do take it. I've also started using essential oils this week and just took my first dose of Cholestyramine. I'm feeling positive about getting some good results.
