Our well water has a lot of manganese in it! Most of it is filtered out and my blood tests don't show an excess, thankfully.
And some well water is high in lithium also. We should not supplement with these elements unless we know we are deficient. Sometimes we may be deficient, sometimes we may not be. Our diet and pathogen load determines where we stand. If you have a lot of inflammation, you have a condition that is conducive to being low on some of or all of those elements. It doesn't mean you are, but the conditions are right for them to be in low supply.
Sources of manganese are nuts, teas, seafood, a lot of natural foods have manganese. Sources of lithium are kelp(also has iodine), grains, nuts, and like manganese, it is found in a lot of natural foods. Eating a diet high in leafy greens or if your body has a lot of acids produced (like many Lyme patients), can decrease absorption of lithium.
