A Question About Red Streaks / Lines That Resemble Scratch Marks

I am very impressed with the members here and all the knowledge and info !!! ... I try to do a lot of reading so I can understand what is the best course of treatment, and I feel that hearing FIRST HAND experiences and from those who have dealt with these issues to be some of the best info ...

I have a question regarding the red streaks / lines that appear on the skin - they resemble actual scratches, although they are slightly different than the usual scratch ...

These are usually an indication of a bartonella infection, correct ?

Are these red lines due to a hyper-sensitivity in the skin, or are they actual bacterial toxins, or both ? ....

I know that when I have initiated certain therapies - Samento, rifampin, colloidal silver, and even the Pekana detox remedies, I have seen these red marks appear ...... They have even appeared as I have sat in the IR Sauna ...

All this sounds good, right ??? Taking certain remedies that bring these lines out ... But the trouble is that the symptoms get so unbearable that I need to take a break ....

I suppose I would like to hear anyone's experiences with red streaky lines, and how bad the symtoms got before you backed off ...

I was always the last person to leave a basketball or tennis court - I was always saying "C'mon, 10 more minutes" when everyone else was stopping :)

So this inability to tolerate treatment is very unlike me - it actually has taken me a long time just to work up the courage to post here and admit that treatment is difficult ...

My red lines/scratch marks do not itch ...

Are you aware of any possible exposure you might have had to mold ???

The only other thing I have heard the scratch marks link to was possible mold exposure ..

Two years ago, my chimney was leaking into the attic ( a finished attic ) - the house is from the 1850s, and I was paranoid when I saw the water and the stains .... I bought one of those white tyvek haz-mat suits and a respirator mask and tore the entire wood ceiling apart ( the ceiling was slanted )

I was certain I would find a nightmare of mold, and be able to say "THAT'S WHAT IS CAUSING MY PROBLEMS" .... but there was nothing to speak of, just a little darkening of the pink insulation ..

I really think that bartonella is the main problem w/ the red lines .... maybe being exposed to mold triggers a reaction that somehow interacts with these bacteria, but I had been around mold years and years ago and was never effected ...

Have you ever taken rifampin ???

Do you have jaw/ear/neck issues or any swollen lymph nodes or lumps near your jaw, ear or neck ?

Do you get these tiny itchy bumps as well? I've had those for over a dozen years. My first tick bite was about 20 years ago and then I was bit again in 2011.

I honestly can't tell you which herbs are bringing out the streaks because I'm on a protocol that involves about 15-20 different ones called the Synergy Protocol. From day one the protocol has ramped up the rashes and bumps and general itchiness.

I seem to tolerate most treatments pretty well but I'm not as sick as most on here. Rifampin was easy for me but the one thing I couldn't tolerate was monolaurin. I tried it a few times and the chest and back pain was unbearable. It hit my muscles something awful.

Yeppers! We do need to support the immune system, because if it had been working properly, we wouldn't have had these infections to begin with!! So we must build up the immune system among other things.

Actually, what we are talking about is not an allergy at all, but a rash from a specific infection that can be dangerous to some if it is not treated, and will lead to lots of health issues down the road even for someone that is healthy.

We are talking about Bartonellosis, or as we call it here, Bart or Bartonella. As I said, this is not an allergic reaction, but a skin reaction to the infection that is ongoing in the body.

Shiitake mushrooms actually increase the immune function, so they can help fight infections like Bartonella and Lyme disease .

Cats are the main reservoir for B. henselae, which causes approximately 20,000 reported cases of cat scratch disease per year in the United States. Sorry to say that you have a higher chance of having Bartonella than having the Shiitake Toxic reaction.
