I am at a tough place and could use some direction, if possible.
Does anyone have a name of llnd's in PA? Md?
I have a positive IGeneX result, four +'s, 1 ++, and 1 IND. The llmd I saw also had me do a lyme test with another lab, Labcorp, which came back neg.
The llmd stated I do NOT have lyme. She did say at the first appt she thought I had co's, but she didn't include any tests for them with the 16 other tests she ordered. I am no longer seeing this dr.
Ok, here's the situation. I have all these symptoms, and they cycle, move around, etc. I'm definately ill, and have been for years.
My question is, what the h am I supposed to do? Am I to just keep trying to get in to see a llmd, have them run tests with their lab of choice, and then if/when it comes up neg, what, keep on trying to find a dr that tests, and pray the tests are done when the bugs are able to be 'seen'?
Until then, what? I'm dealing with frustration and anger with all the work trying to 'maintain' the day to day, figure out what I'm supposed to be doing in terms of finding health care help, and also struggle with the feelings that I'm so sick, but the professionals turn their back, say I'm not, it's all in my head, insist I need anti-depressents, and the clock keeps ticking while I just keep getting sicker.
I seem to do well mentally for a while, and then I plummet again, and it's a mental/physical ongoing cycle. If this ain't lyme, then I should just check myself into the psych ward because whatever is going on inside of me IS making me go nuts! And the dr's are doing their part to add to the stress.
Suggestions welcomed and anything else that might be helpful.
Thanks
