Hot!

Does anyone get extremely hot out of the blue? It's hotter and lasts longer than any hot flash I've ever had. I don't have a fever but my face and body feel like I'm burning up. Thyroid checks out ok. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this and what they do for it. Thanks

Yes, this happens to me occasionally. It feels "different" from a hot flash. It feels like there is heat rising from my core into my face, but when I touch my skin it doesn't feel particularly hot. Who really knows what it is. I just let it pass and then I forget about it until I read posts like this. lol But I'll ask my doc. when I see her next week.

Yes, i have this too, and can never tell if it's menopause or babesia. I've noticed that it gets much worse when I'm sick, or aabout to get sick. When i had c. Diff. and was about to get a flare, it was truly horrible, and kept me awake all night. Iwouldsweat so much, the bed would get d be damp. It still happens to me sometimes if. i'm sick in whatever way. I guess it's Babesia. Margaret
