Hello,
I got a name of an llmd (Dr. B) in Chicago from someone who knows of him, but has no personal experience with him. I'm wondering if anyone has personal experience with an llmd in Chicago whether Dr. B or another. And, if so, could let me know your opinion? You can message me to find who Dr. B is or about
another doctor.
I'm new to all of this, and I feel like I'm fumbling around in the dark a bit, no, a lot!. Any advice or info. on a llmd in Chicago area would be so greatly appreciated.
My son who is four next month is showing many symptoms of lyme (since late Oct.).
We should get the results of his Igenex tests tomorrow. Three weeks ago we saw an llmd in our area (kind of our area, not Chicago though), but I'm not sure she's as experienced as I'd like her to be, with things such as co-infections, (gathered from things she said) etc. I can explain more in a message.
Thanks so much in advance.

bump - have you tried contacting a local lyme support group? They might be the best way to get a personal recommendation. Hope your little one feels better soon!

Hello Stacestar. Welcome to the forum! I'm so sorry to year your young son has it, but I'm glad you found out so it won't keep progressing as he gets older, if you find a good doctor.
I think most everyone feels overwhelmed when they start learning about
Lyme disease. Just stick around her to learn more about
it and to ask any questions you may have.
I wish your son the best. Keep us posted.
