We had a stretch of dry sunny weather that lured me outside this past week and I noticed daffodils are up, about
6 inches tall already. Crocuses in a pot of layered bulbs are up and snow drops are up too. I saw some swollen leaf buds as well, a bit too early for them to be starting to
open.
I like to see plants coming back to life, telling me that winter will be over soon and better weather lies ahead.
3 bald eagles were out one day, soaring in the sky, just enjoying the sunny day. They were a lot lower than they usually are, possibly because the hawks weren't out that day. It's always a treat to see and hear them. I usually hear them first.
It always makes me feel peaceful when things start growing. It gets me outside more often and walking more.
Any other gardeners here?
