lyme disease sharp stomach pain

So for several years now i have been experience several symptoms and a few days ago i finally got my results from igenex that im positive for lyme. anyway the next day i got really sharp pains in my lower abdominal and im scared it was my appendix. i went to emergency and all they did was a blood work and physical exam and said i was fine and i have gas. the pain is really severe and i dont know if it is lyme or if i should go to emergency to check for what it is. can lyme cause chronic lower abdominal pain.

Lyme does cause gas pain for me. Try an antigas such as Gas-X and see if the pain goes away. If it does not, your PCP can do a CAT scan for other abnormalities.

If it happens very often, you may need to add digestive enzymes to your diet to complement your probiotics.
