I wonder if any of you have white spots/demyelination on your brain scans?
How does the doctor treat this? Do ABX help to heal those?

Hi Sueg...I have them. My brain thank God has been stable with the last couple of MRI's. My next one isn't until October. With treatment for Lyme Disease and also if your neurologist thinks anything will help as well it can heal. The brain takes the longest time to heal out of every organ in your body.

I've heard stories of people going in and all of the spots were gone...their brain totally healed but it took time :-(

Do you have a neurologist that knows Lyme? I got IV's to assist since the CNS was effected as well as my brain and a lot of natural supplements assist in the healing of the brain and herbs. I couldn't do abx so I can't really talk about that route.

I just wondered about the w/s healing because I just had a scan done in Oct. But I have been having more symptoms with stiffness in my legs and vision probs. along with the MANY other symptoms so the Neuro ordered another scan. I'm hoping there are not more lesions and I am scared!

BTW--I still don't see the LLMD for 2 weeks so I am hoping to ask her about all of this.

I have had a zillion symptoms for years but just lived with it. But they just kept adding up and in the Fall I had to get this checked out. I do think these are not new symptoms just more noticeable old ones!! (I never thought of it that way--thanks...)
