So, in my quest to ease arthritis pain, I am searching and trying all kinds of things,
so I thought why not act as the guinea pig for others and share my results.
So far what has worked best for my knees has been this Chinese Medicine formula called Du Huo Ji Sheng Wan. Some places run the words together, so watch for that if you choose to do a search for it.
That works really well for both my (Lyme arthritis) and my husband
(osteoarthritis) as if I don't get the pills stuffed in time, in 2 days after not taking it, we're both hobbling around -LOL! Quite a sight!!
We have run quite low on this formula since my TCM doc has moved out of state (
), so I'm searching for alternatives. I found a place online that I can buy it from, but have no idea about
the quality yet.
But - what I did discover was that Rosemary oil has helped!! It doesn't take away the pain, but it does make it possible to live with the pain! There is of course those that this won't work too well for, so I would suggest that if you choose to make some, only make a small amount as I did.
I took approx 3 ounces of virgin Olive Oil and added appox 2 tablespoons of fresh Rosemary to it and allowed it to be in a warm
location for 4 weeks. Now I'm taking a bit (I stick two finger tips in the oil) and rub it on each knee and it makes it so that I'm no longer finding reasons to not get up!
