very interesting. I just read a little from his website, and from a few articles he wrote.
one thing I take away from it especially, is the parasite issue.
My son get's lots of tummy aches as a symptom, and will say a lot "I'm hungry!" at night. My husband is convinced he has parasites. B/c of this, I've looked up a few things, and read (something that you all probably know anyway) that parasites can be a co-infection. I read one article that said they can be the number one co-infection. (don't know if that's true or not though.)
anyway, so Dr. Y's idea about
treating parasites first and then the antibiotics not being needed for as long (that's something I just read in one of his articles, if I was understanding it correctly) is very interesting. He said Dr. K calls it the "Dr. S. Y's Modified Parasite Protocal"
Makes me want to research that idea more.
Also, makes me think of something that came to mind when I was reading another post from someone just today. The person was asking about
band 41, and mentioned how he read that band 41 positive is very common in lyme patients (I've read this too, probably many of us have).
I also read somewhere that parasites have flagella (the tail thing that band 41 is specific for). Anyone know if this is true?
Makes me wonder if parasites really are a huge issue with lyme infection. Makes me think about
an old online interview I heard the other day with Dr. Joe B. (can we mention his name since he doesn't see patients anymore?) anyway, he said how a tick is like a "dirty needle".
just thoughts, but I'm looking up this Dr. S. Y's parasite protocol now.
thanks for the post. always good to read new things.
