I'm new to Banderol. Started taking it last Monday. Just to be complete: My protocol says 12 days Samento (have been building it up for 2,5months, got to 4 to 6 drops per day), then 2 days nothing, then 10 days Banderol, then again Samento, and so on.

I thought I was doing great, much more tolerable than Samento. Then
After 1 day I had the first mouth ksore in my life, sore throat, temperature up a bit, feeling feverish. Temp has been up every day. I feel like I have the flu, real flu, not the flu like feeling you get when herxing. But it's not coming through entirely. Maybe coincidental? But I feel so weak.
Don't know how one reacts/can react on banderol? Everything I can find is about samento or the 2 together.
Don't even know what I'm asking here, feeling blurry. Any insights are welcome.

Oh, and I also started burbur. I wisely waited with cumanda until I'm somewhat used to banderol.

Assuming you are positive its not a Herx, then it sounds like a classic viral or bacterial coinfection flareup to me. You just have to isolate what is flaring and why.

For me these flareups have different "flavors" and usually occur when there is a trigger that affects my immune system (for example I sleep badly the night before). My rifampin was key to controlling some of these flareups (like my Lyme coinfections), but taking antivirals like Famciclovir (to control my adult viruses many of us carry) helped me too. Monthly/weekly bloodwork was key in helping my LLMD figure out what was going on.

I have to agree; it sounds like a virus (not flu), but virus or infection. It doesn't sound like a herx.

I'm surprised you're not taking banderol and samento together? I'm not an LLMD, obviously, but I thought they were supposed to be stronger when taken together, as opposed to separately.

Sounds to me that your LLMD is increasing your dose fairly rapidly (not like Cowden, but still). I'm sort of glad I'm doing my own thing, although when I used to take abx, my LLMD always let me go up at my pace.

If your fever gets high, you get a cough, or ear infection, I would go to the doctor.

vcast, I was used to distinguishing flares from herxes, but this is different. It might be something viral. Don't really know... felt something coming for over a week

Margaret, thanks for asking, that's sweet of you. Not really feeling allright. I haven't slept all night either. Goint to see my GP in a few hours. Will ask him to put me home for a week. I need to sleep this off. Temperature is still 1,5°C higher than normal, and I got this red swollen painful bump right under my knee.

I'm whining... rolleyes

Sinusitis - GP gave me Azythromycine. And I herx so bad on Azythromycine...
He says to do slow, heartbeat much too high, BP much too high and heartpalpitations...
I'll be home for this week.
