I want to thank everyone that has helped me so far.

I get to see a LLMD here in two weeks only two hours away thanks to you guys. Based on my symptoms and my IGM p.41 band popping on the wester blot has made me question this. It's good to finally get a physician who knows what they're doing. No doctor would help me, nor let me try antibiotics and either told me it was in my head or wouldn't call me back. Truly awful. You guys are a great bunch of people, and I hope the fight for lyme and all coinfections becomes more forefront. With 300,000 plus cases each year, and they way be people are being treated is unacceptable. Makes me wonder, if this his happening with lyme, what other diseases and problems is this happening with.

I would still suggest that you keep on top of your treatments - not all LLMD's are equal, so if you don't feel like this one connects or understands what's going on with you, please don't hesitate to ask for help in finding another LLMD.

Wow, congrats and how wonderful for you!

I personally know where you're at with this, as I was just dx in sept '13 after years of getting the run around from dr's. Just like someone else mentioned, although a dr might be a llmd, they not all equal. If it doesn't go well, which I pray it does, don't give up. If needed, maybe a Lyme Literate Naturopath Doctor (LLND) might be up your alley. Just keep that in mind, even if you get dx and get on meds, if it doesn't work out for you, maybe a llnd would be helpful.

Yes this place is awesome! It amazes me the knowledge of the veterans here, seems like they always have an answer.
