Hello,
This morning on Facebook, I saw this story of a Dutch girl who has chronic Lyme disease and multiple co-infections and viruses. The story is written in English.

I thougt I'd share. Maybe someone recognizes this story and maybe it helps someone!
Love,

Poor girl. Yes, the ticks in Czech Republic are bad. That is where I am from and my sister is still there and has Lyme disease too! There is ONE LLMD in the entire country I know of! Terrible!

Thank you for this post. I read her story and it is almost identical to mine. I understand her suffering and frustration, as most of us will, too.
May we heal and be able to live life pain and symptom free, and be there to help support our 'family' that is still suffering through this horrible illness.

Hi Lymebabe,
I am sorry that you and your sister are having lyme disease to. I wish you all the best! I live in Belgium and there are no llmd's also, only very expensive ones. And in the Netherlands it's hard to find someone too.
Hi in a cocoon,
I am happy that you find the story relatable. But im sorry that you had to go through so much also.
I hope you are feeling better soon!
Love,
Lilyan

And it's very sad to read all those story's. I hope that's going to change soon. There are too many people suffering from lyme disease all over the world!

Hi Lilyan,
Welcome to our community!
We have another member here that lives in Belgium as well - MarieLS.
Do you have tick-borne infections too? Are you in treatment? How are you doing?
Please be sure to read through our "New to Lyme? Start here!" thread as it's packed with very helpful information.

Hi traveler,
I was reading the thread your talking about
when you posted your reply
No I don't have lyme! A good friend of mine has it..so I know a lot about
it.
I have chronic Q fever. Not from a tick (I hope! ).

This woman's story parallels mine very closely also. :(
What a sad situation.
