Pet detox

This may seem silly but how do I detox my dog? She has been having horrid allergies since her shots and right now there is only ONE per food she can eat without breaking out in terrible hives. I tried just about every food on the market including raw.

I once asked the same question on this forum. My dog has Lyme. For lack of knowing what else to do, I comb her every day, and give her foot baths. I also give her Milk Thistle and Benadryl.

I would give her detox herbs that are safe for dogs.

Don't give an immune compromised dog raw food. You can make your own dog food using chicken and brown rice, or worst case, lamb and brown rice. If it's long-term, you will have to add supplements like bonemeal.

Benadryl doesn't seem to knock my dogs out. It makes humans sleepier than dogs.

I'll see if I can find a website about detox supplements for dogs.

Make sure you comb her a lot. You can add a spritz of iodine to warm water, and take each paw, and then bathe it gently, going between the pads etc. It's better than using a washcloth.

Pets' paws are full of allergens and all sorts of things (after all, they don't wear shoes).

PS, unless you're using the lamb and rice, one thing that can make a dog toxic is switching dog foods around too fast.

Lymebabe, my dog got Lyme the same year I was reinfected. She got so bad she had seizures and developed ulcers from regular dog food and medications. The vet told me she was going to suffer too much and to put her down. I could not do that. Being my best friend I thought why can't she try what I thought was helping me? I started feeding her a mix of veggies and meat. I also started fasting her, we would do it together. The two along with things like nettle, clay and lemon stopped her seizures and allowed her to live happily for almost two more years. It even helped her joint pain and anxiety. The vets were dumbfounded.
Here's a typical recipe I did:
Chicken, rabbit, coconut oil, walnut oil, olive oil, bone marrow, kale, cabbage, spinach, blueberries, chia seed, hemp seed, ginger, turmeric, garlic, cranberries, brocollini, fish oil, cannabis oil, lemon, water, egg shells and vitamins.
It takes patience to cook your dog food every day but its one of the most rewarding experiences I've had. She really was healthy and happier with her special diet. I learned almost and it is important to look it up but almost everything you do your dog can do.
