Do you get EXHAUSTED???

I am still in diagnosis limbo but wonder if you guys get days where you are feeling fine when you wake up and after a few hours you feel sick---like the flu and so tired, like a groggy, drugged feeling? So then it is back to bed to sleep the day away and maybe feel better by the afternoon. Maybe by about 2PM I can shower and get dressed but I can never make any plans. I never know how I will feel. If I do make plans I might need to cancel. Is this the way you all felt before treatment? Or do you think this illness is something else?

Before treatment and thyroid meds I used to not feel normal till around 5 pm, my brain was in a fog and I felt tired and worn out.

First I was put on thyroid meds since I had blood work done by my GyN doc showing I had low thyroid and I took the results to my LLDO. He put my on the thyroid meds and tested me for Lyme. I started to feel a lot more energy within a few weeks.

I also did the ultra simple diet by Dr. Mark Hyman in the summer and after I got thru the detox part by the end of the week I felt the brain fog lifted. Toxins in your body can make you feel bad also.

I've had Lyme for 15 yrs and just got diagnosed in November, my pain is still bad but I believe I am feeling better overall.

Fatigue is and always has been my main symptom, with all of its variations, lately I have the exhausted fatigue I refer to as "feeding time" - just out of nowhere I feel like I'm being drained of every last nutrient my body has to function! I imagine (although this is probably not the case) all the bugs are feeding on all of my energy!

Try and see if it hits around the same time every day - then you can try to plan around that time, and drench yourself in nutrients and things that give you energy around that time...or at least try to rest a few minutes around then!
