Is houttuynia antimicrobial? What about elecampane?

The Cowden protocol threw me into a tailspin with diarrhea, and possible recurring c. diff. I need to know which herbs are antimicrobial and which aren't. I have the houtt and elecampane in tea form, not tinctures.

I don't want to waste them, but if they pose a danger, then obv. I won't drink the teas.

I'm assuming I can always take Malarone and Hydroxychloriquine, but I'd rather do the teas, if possible.

Oh, no wonder I had diarrhea. Do you know of other herbs that treat babs and bart? I'm really starting to think that Cowden, though I was noticing a distinct improvement, is not that different from abx in terms of danger of c. diff.

Actually, Cowden really makes me herx, and I only got up to two drops twice a day before I got diarrhea. So I guess it just depends on your constitution.

I did start feeling better, even on the two drops, but that was before I got the diarrhea.

I'm going to try Buhner's herbalist first.

I imagine most of those protocols work pretty well, right? IE not just Cowden.

Cowden was starting to help.

The diarrhea may also be from peanut butter (it seems to be connected) or from fermented foods--more likely the former, but you never know.

I still haven't done the C. Diff. test. I'm not sleeping well, and it's wrecking my days.

Ok, it's true that when I went up on the Cowden, I started going to the bathroom pretty frequently.

I hope this herbalist knows about C. Diff. She must, if she's Buhner's associate, right?
