I have 3 viruses, now what?

Recent blood work indicates positive EPSTEIN-BARR VCA IGG, EBV NUCLEAR AG (EBNA IGG), CHLAMYDIA PNEUMONIAE IGG, HERPEVIRUS 6 IGG, IFA.

Now what?

I did some searches on the board here and couldn't find any info relating to these. Anyone have any info that would be helpful?

Hi there...the Lyme bacteria can make these tests positive. Also coinfections mimick these too. I tested positive for EBV and others through blood but in my culture it was negative. They go away with treatment and once your immune system gets strong. There's also treatments for them naturally and abx. Don't freak out...a lot of people test positive for these. You aren't alone.

where did you get test it? is it your PCP ordered it? I'd need to get test it for those 3 as well.

My PCP is treating Lyme and other stuff. She ordered the tests.

I did lyme test thru my PCP as well, it came back negative. not sure what type of test/lab (WB or elisa) they

did/ used. should I retest it with certified lab such as stony brook or other?

My LLMD ordered the tests.

TheWryter, I don't think they're all false positive. They were significantly above the threshold 3 or 4 times the elevated value for high.

Wait whoa - thewryter please fill me in on this. How can lyme cause ebv to come out positive? Is it the igg or igm? Do u have a link for this?? Bc I was questioning someone who was diagnosed with mono and wondering if he may have lyme.....please fill tell me what u can about this thanks!!!!!
