Hansa Center never answers my questions...

When I call them up to ask a question, they keep telling me they can't give medical advice, yet my questions have nothing to do with medical advice, just questions about their products (this has happened twice).

My question was fairly simple today. Their product line includes virogen and borrelogen. Borrelogen is made with virogen so I was asking why would someone buy virogen if they can just get it in borrelogen. Ideas??

Dr. Jernigan's book mentions if you have viruses take l - lysine for 4-6 months and at the same time take virogen for 2-3 months then switch to microbojen for 2-3 months.

Yet his book also mentions in the perfect 7 detox protocol to take borrelogen for 2 months, followed by lymogen for 2 months, followed by microbojen for the last 2 months.

So which is it? If someone has Lyme and viruses, what protocol are we supposed to take. Both protocols are conflicting.

Hmm I remember this...I ordered the products but just kind of did my own thing with them. I don't have an answer for you but I would suggest emailing Sarah Jernigan. She has always gotten back to me with answers. I think her website is similar then the Hansa center. Hers I think is jernigan nutraceuticals.

I will try to contact Hansa tomorrow and see if I can get an answer out.

If you click on hansacenter.com and then click on supplements (under store) it states the Virogen is designed for colds and the flu. 

I remember reading a long time ago why Dr. Jernigan put some Virogen in the Borrelogen (he did this on purpose but I don't remember the reason why).   Again, if you click on the hansacenter website it lists all the ingredients in both products and what they are designed to do, perhaps that may help. 

Also, if I remember correctly, one is not supposed to take Lymogen unless they suspect they have Bartonella. 

Hopefully Opugirl will see if she can get the reason why Dr. J. puts some Virogen in the Borrelogen... gosh, it's been so many years!!

opugirl, I e-mailed Sara about two weeks ago with a few questions and haven't heard anything back from her yet. How fast do you get responses?

Denise, Dr. Jernigan's book says this about virogen:

"I developed the frequency-matched products Virogen™ and Microbojen™ to provide the body’s crystalline matrix (See Chapter 3 for more info on the crystalline matrix) with the specific information necessary to facilitate the control and ultimate destruction of viruses. Clinical experience suggests that a general recommendation would be to start out using LLysine (from foods or in capsule form) for 4-6 months, and at
the same time, use Virogen for 2-3 months, and then switch to Microbojen for 2-3 months, still maintaining the same dose of L-Lysine."

I would think that virogen is used other viruses too not just than cold and flu. If not, what products address viruses?

One thing I've learned is the Hansa Center and Jernigan Nutraceuticals are separate companies. Hansa Center can only answer doseage questions if you are a patient at the clinic.

Just wanted you to know I didn't forget about you!  I have been really busy so I still have not had the time to get out Jernigan's book and find the paragraph you posted.

From my past experience with the Healing at Home protocol (this was from Dr. J's first book), I don't remember Dr. J. stating to take Virogen.  It was 3 botanicals I took (Borrelogen, Neuro-Antitox, and then switched over to Microbojen still taking the Neuro-Antitox).  

When I have the time I will get back to you!!

Hmm I'm not sure if it's in his first book, but it's on page 134 of Beating Lyme Disease: Living the Good Life In Spite of Lyme. I was thinking that virogen wouldn't be solely for the flu and colds since he recommends taking it for 2-3 months, followed by microbojen for another 2 months all while staying on l-lysine for 4-6 months (which is to combat viruses). According to Dr. Jernigan, "Many people suffering with Lyme Disease also have
various viral issues as well, such as Human Herpes Virus-6, Epstein Barr Virus, and others. Arginine feeds viruses. The amino acid L-Lysine blocks Arginine’s ability to feed viruses, so it will benefit everyone to boost the dietary intake of LLysine." Given his references to l-lysine and virogen, I really think virogen is for EBV, HHV6, and other viruses as well!!
