HH Herx?

I was taking 3 abx for awhile, and my doctor had me stop the Bactrim and add Zhang's HH. I didn't think it was doing anything, except giving me awful fish burps, but today I think I had a major herx. I had a horrible panic attack, got shaky and had the feeling of doom ("I'm going to die, something is wrong, this herb must be poisonous"). My legs got real weak and I was dizzier than usual.

My concern is that I don't know if it was an HH herx, and that I'd really underestimated its potency, or if I'm hitting a downward spiral because I stopped the Bactrim.

I guess it's impossible to tell for sure. My instinct tells me it was a herx, because I'm in bed now and not feeling quite as bad. But wow. It hit me like a freight train and I'm so glad I was not out at the library with my son like I was just two hours beforehand.

I'm taking the HH capsules which are 250 mg.

I take 2 a day.

Houttuynia is really strong - I used it for a couple of months, and am planning to restart once my samento/banderol/cumanda protocol is on full speed.

I herxed very bad when I started drinking the tea. Felt like I was moving through a thick substance. I continued herxing, but the worst part was over after 3 weeks, just like Traveler said. I started slow, cause I got warned by Traveler that it could cause pretty intense herxing and I still was surprised by its power...
