I've been researching treatments for many months, trying to decide which one to try next. Reading through the herbal protocols wore me out with all the choices and how many things one had to take over the course of their illness. Several times after reading a bunch, I'd think of how much easier it is to do homeopathic treatments, less to take and faster results. So I finally decided to go back to my homeopath and start constitutional treatments again.
I went to her last Friday and after telling her all my symptoms, mental, emotional, and physical, she chose a remedy for me. She gave me a dose before we left and I felt decent when we got home, which normally I wouldn't have. Yesterday I went outside and worked in the garden and ended up spending several hours out there, doing a lot of weeding. I could not have done that prior to the appointment. I tried to do it last week, but wouldn't get very far before I had to quit, then I'd be more tired out the next day.
After all I did yesterday, I feel pretty good today. I'm a little stiff from not using several muscles for a long time, but not as bad as I would've been before the treatment. I feel much more alert
and my head is more clear and I have more energy and ambition after dragging so much since my mom passed away. I have an appetite again too, which I didn't have for many months.
The remedy she gave me will probably be working on me for several weeks and I'll have to restrain myself so I don't overdo it. I need to take it slow and let it work on me.
As some of you know, I was very ill 30+ years ago. I was so far down that I think I was on my way out of this world. That's when I turned to homeopathy, after MDs just told me I was depressed. Homeopathy alone restored my health and was the reason I didn't get real sick this time around, after several of lifes big stressors set me back quite a bit, but nothing like before.
I don't know which remedy she gave me, but I have a strong hunch which it was. Homeopaths won't tell me, because I know too much about
it and they're concerned I'd do a placebo affect. LOL! I was surprised the first time one told me that.
I wish homeopathy was more accepted so more people would have access to it. It's an old medicine and was used a lot more in this country before the AMA formed and just about
wiped it out of this country.
I hope my experience will help someone else. There are homeopaths who work on people all over the country, doing the appointment through skype. There's one in Seattle who works on people all over the world.

30% of people in studies have improved with placebo. At the lyme conference I was just at the docs consider the placebo the brains ability to heal the body itself. I like that.....
On another note I'm really glad this seems to be working for you! :) yayyyy

Thanks! It's so hard not to overdo it this time of year, since I enjoy working in my garden so much and it's so overrun with weeds. My lower back is too stiff from yesterday, so that will make me behave today.
I don't think I could do the placebo if I wanted to! :) I'm just glad I went after procrastinating so long. I had a hard time remembering all my symptoms since I focus on my daughter so much, but I gave her enough to go on.

Thanks everyone!
What amazes me is that my original homeopathic treatments are still helping me. That was close to 30 years ago! I got some of the symptoms back, but much milder than they were back then. I've been through enough stress the past 4 years to test it. I just wish homeopathy was more widely known so more people could benefit from it. I heard there's a shortage of homeopaths now, so I'm glad my original homeopath is training more people to do it.
