Lyme gone. Bart and babs here.

I've been heavily treating Lyme and I to touched upon Bart with rifampin. I've been treating Lyme with minocycline and tindimax which virtually wiped all my Lyme symptoms out as well as other herbs . I kind or treated Bart with a few months of rifampin and doxy but had to stop do to liver enzymes elevated. While treating Lyme heavily I noticed all my symptoms went away and there was a period of 3 weeks where I felt great went back to the gym 4 days a week and everything then all of a sudden symptoms that I have never had starting showing up. All text book babs and Bart symptoms.

So my question is should I start treating babesia since I've never even touched upon that before? Or should I focus on Bart since I've already half asses treated.

Babs symptoms
Dizzy
Sweats
Deep muscle pain
Air hunger

Bart symptoms
Morning foot pain

And is anxiety a Bart or babs symptoms? I've never actually had anxiety before in my life so I know it's ones of these

Bart is supposed to be treated first as it's thought that once you've been on Babs meds like Mepron, Bart meds become ineffective.

So I'm guessing treating both at the same time is out of the question?

Hi Tbrown, good to see you again. I'm glad it sounds like you are coming along nicely in treatment. It seems to me based on reading a lot of peopls accounts that there is usually a dominant infection and most of us have co-infections. Sometimes if you knock one infection out - the others come out to play and sometimes if you knock the dominant infection out your body is like "I'm good, I can take care of the rest."

Every doctor seems to have a different opinion on whether to treat babs or bart first. Bart is actually similiar to babs in a way. It is a psuedo parasite because it DOES infect red blood cells like babesia. Some of the herbs used to treat babs are also effective for treating bart for that reason.

Perhaps you can give some of those herbs a shot and go on a liver protective herb as well?

Thank you for the responses. Yes I have come a long way but I still have a long way to go. My LLMD uses mostly abx even though she is

holistic doctor. I want to go after the babs because I haven't even scratched that surface yet but I don't want to ruin it for the Bart if that's

what's going to happen.
My feet didn't start hurting until I started treating for Bart. Also new

symptom is my heart randomly beats hard. Not fast but hard enough to wake me up while sleeping and such. Had that in the beginning of

treatment back in November but didn't show up again until now I wonder why?
Fortunately for me I know when I was bit (two years ago) but didn't

start showing symptoms until June of last year. I have only been treating since November but I've made huge progress and need to

figure out where to go next

My Dr is treating me for bart, babs and lyme at the same time. So i would think treating them together would work. That's great you're feeling so well after 5 months. I was bit 3 years ago and been treating for 6 months and feeling pretty bad. May I ask what you've been treating with?
