Georgia Hunter,
Forgive me for asking a stupid question but how do I go about clearing the methylation pathways? I only began treatment in December and more often than not I feel like I don't really know what I'm doing
Thanks,
Charity
Good question, I wish I had an easy answer. Most of us have genetic mutations that hinder us from eliminating toxins/cellular debris from our systems. Some of us are worse than others. The easy answer is to study MTHFR mutations and learn as much as possible. Dr Amy Yasko has a free online book titled "Autism, Pathways to Recovery." Since it's free, I recommend everyone read it. You may not understand, but it gives plenty of examples of things that can help. While the book is mostly about
Autism, the methylation and transsulfuration pathways affect all of us, especially people with chronic infectious disease. You could do a 23andme genetic test for $99 and see exactly what genes are causing your trouble. Supplementing these lagging pathways would speed up healing and minimize herxes.
