Shaky on antibiotics?

Does anyone else get really shaky after taking their antibiotics. I get a feeling as if I have drank ten cokes or something. I am on three different types I apologize can't remember all of them I'm àt work at the moment. Any comments?

oh I definitely did when I was on Ceftin. It's weird, but from the moment it hit my mouth, I could feel my body rejecting it. I don't know why. I stayed on it about 5 weeks before it really did me in. I had to stop it.

I've also noticed a sort of vibration feeling from my chest to my head the last few months. Not really like shivering, but different.

Last week my other half looked at me and said, "what's wrong with you?" I said why, and she said I was shaking like a leaf. Odd that I never noticed my head shaking, but now with time in the mirror I can see it.

All of my remaining sx are neuro related. After 4 years in treatment it is surprising to see new symptoms crop up.

Not sure if my shaking is a result of my current ABX combo, or caused by one of my remaining infections. It does vary thru the day, but most noticeable in mid-mornings.

Now that I'm home from work I can tell you the meds. Cefdinir 300 mg x 4 a day, Azithromycin x 2, Minocycline x 2. I sometimes wonder if people seeing me shaking too it's the craziest feeling.

Isn't the shakiness from the infection in the nerves? I was getting shakiness too but it has gone down so much and I'm still on antibiotics! So I think it's either the infection, or the herx and toxins that is causing the shakiness.

How is your treatment going gingeranne?

@lymepickle I was wondering if that's what it was since I hadn't had it prior to starting my abx treatment.

It's been a bit of a rough road (which I was prepared for and aware of) so far and I'm on week 2 of abx. Let me say this it wouldn't be AS tough if I was able to be at home to take care of myself but since I am the only person supporting myself I have to work. Looking into FMLA for when I can't bear to be at work anymore I took two half days last week. So far I haven't noticed any improvement of symptoms hopefully in the next few weeks there will be something happen-trying to be hopeful!

I have been getting really shaky on penicillin shots I've been taking. I'm self-conscious about it, and at work I find myself trying to hide it. It's probably not something anyone else would notice, but it bothers me because I can feel them shaking more than it's visibly noticeable. Lately I feel shaky all over my body.
