Need a new LLMD in central NC

I don't know of any. There certainly aren't any who do ivs. The only one I know of is J. Fran....

It's a short flight to DC. That's what I would do.

Oh, and the guy in Asheville is awful, from what I've heard. And I don't know anything about the PA, except PAs don't have that much experience. NPs have more.

I know a few lymies in the Piedmont, and if there were a good LLMD anywhere in NC, they would have gone.

You might want to talk to my friend Faye; she used to be a member of TickNC (right name?), but I would have to get her approval first. Her background was in science (Research Tri).

She and I both fly to NY, if that gives you any idea.

You might try VA or SC?? I think Northern VA is your best bet. You can take the train.

There used to be someone in Jacksonville (NC), but from what I've heard, she's retired.

Although she's pretty sick, she's very knowledgeable about Lyme, and like I said, she used to be a scientist in the Research Triangle.

She also knows a lot about what's going on in the state, because she was one of the founding members of ticnc, or ticknc, I don't remember the name of the group.

I am new to this site and to NC. here two years and with my first tick bite got lyme. I had no rash so didn't think any more about it till I had a weird reaction to steroids about four months later. Tested positive on the western blot and was on doxi for a month. Have no symptoms but worry about the disease progressing when I am not looking. My PCP is confident about the treatment but aren't they all. Where can I go for further testing or what should I look for as a warning???? Thanks.
