I am searching for better Lyme disease care. And I found a
place in New York called the Columbia Univ. Hospital- Lyme & TBD
Center. I will be calling their appt. co-ordinator tomorrow.

I want to get more reliable experienced care rather than the half-hearted care of my current LLMD for this illness. Have
any of you heard of this place or go to it yourself?

wait, where do you live?? I didn't know you were near NY?? I am on Long Island. Columbia is more of a research facility from what I heard. The problem is, it takes weeks to get an appointment. Do you want to see my Dr?? You would love her! Let me know, I will email you the info if you are interested.

I live on Long Island. I dont know of any good LLMD's on LI. Can you e-mail me with who you are using?

I live near Milwaukee in Wisconsin and I know that I would
need to wait for an appt.---maybe months. But I am tired of not
getting reliable care and being sick, sick and sick.

I want to get an experienced doctor and medical care I trust. The doctor I see now is an LLMD in Waukesha, Wis. He is about
80 years old and is slow as a snail. And does not seem to get how serious this is. So I am searching....

aphysicalwreck - I know of a few in the city, but I do have a few names on Long Island, of which I don't know anything about, but I will forward you everything I have. My Dr is excellent, and I have already referred 4 people from this forum to her. Are you in Nassau or Suffolk?

I remember there being a thread about it I think recently? I think they diagnosed the person but did not treat? I may be wrong...
