whats the difference between going to a ILADS trained doctor and one who is not?

I believe that ILADS dr has been trained by ILADS to administer their protocol of antibiotics whereas non ILADS has not been through their training. That does not necessarily mean that a non ILADS LLMD is not any good. It all depends.

You can get treatment vs. your test is a false positive and they likely won't treat you.

That isn't always the case. My ND is not ILADs trained and is AWESOME but the alternative health drs are much more open to lyme even if they might not be lyme trained.

There are always exceptions to every rule but that is the generalization
