still waiting for test results

Saw my doc today and the Lyme test results are still not in - it's been three weeks...
So, still don't have an answer - and have to be patient a little longer.
Maybe i should just go ahead with the Igenex testing - because i already know that the ones I'm waiting for results - usually come back negative. (But they didn't cost me anything)

thanks Sueg, but I'm from BC Canada. We don't have LLMD's here. It is very difficult to find an MD that will treat Lyme with long term antibiotics. I have found a ND who will give me the kit for Igenex - but I was just waiting for my free test to come back...hoping I won't have to pay - I was told that I'll be paying at least $600 just for the Lyme panel. Because of this stupid illness, I haven't been working much this past year...and we can't afford it. So, I'm hoping that if the Igenex panel comes back positive for Lyme, i can at least get started on an antibiotic treatment and then maybe if I can return to work part time, then I can get the co-infections tested.
