earlier this year, when my body started feeling really bad, I was dealing with leg pains that lasted for over 2 months.
every part of my leg was affected. stabbing cramps in my foot (mainly in the arch or on top), calf muscle cramping, but it feels tight more than cramped. sometimes it hurts. stabbing shin pains. throbbing sensations in my knee, and stabbing pains behind it. thigh soreness, and a weird feeling when I press on the inner thigh, and pain in my groin kind of near where the major veins were. most of the pain is in my left leg, but I feel the groin pain on both sides, and my calf feels slightly cramped on my right side.
I experienced this pain for about two months. it went away for the most part, for about a month, but has come back and is scaring me again. I thought it was a blood clot (like DVT) the first time. but as far as I know, a DVT doesn't just resolve itself, and it would've killed me instead of bothering me for most of this year, so I'm trying to believe it's not a clot...
I do have weird chest pains/discomfort though, but they've been come-and-go for a while anyway. not sure if they're related to this (in the form of a pulmonary embolism) or just the same old things I've felt for months. it feels like my chest is empty and heavy at the same time.
unfortunately, I'm kind of accidentally pregnant and while I'll be dealing with that in a couple of weeks (I don't ever want children and can't afford to have one, anyway), I'm worried the hormone changes and stuff have affected me. these problems started again after I became pregnant. I know blood clots are more prevalent in pregnant people, but the pain feels like it did the last time, so if it isn't a clot, what could it be??
I'm still dealing with a lot of the 'disseminated' lyme symptoms like paresthesias, headaches, fatigue, brain fog, vision problems and pain all throughout my body. stabbing and shooting pains, and numbness in my left hand and sometimes foot. I don't know if the low-grade fevers and severe fatigue are caused or exacerbated by pregnancy, instead of solely lyme. I hate this and I can't get even a regular doctor until I'm through with the unwanted pregnancy stuff.
anyway, I don't understand why I am having these pains, and when I had them before, several doctors dismissed my concerns or performed half-hearted physical exams. they dismissed it as muscle cramps. I had the pains for over two months. I don't think most people have cramps that long, especially 'cramps' that are throughout your entire foot and leg and involve stabbing, shooting, and throbbing. does anyone else experience this kind of discomfort due to lyme, or is it just me and some other kind of health problem?
