Does anyone have any experience treating Toxoplasma gondii?
I am very perplexed by this diagnosis
and I can't seem to figure out if it is something that you can ever get rid of.
Does anyone know?
Thank you

It is likely that some of the drugs you are using to treat lyme are also effective for this parasite. I am not familiar with it but many test positive for all kinds of things when they have lyme. Many of these, your body would normally be able to fight off, including gondii- but because of a weakened immune system, your body is unable to. Just keep trodding one foot in front of the other. If that is the dominant infection, it will need to be addressed - I googled and there are treatments for it. Once your body is no longer immuno-compromised, I imagine your body will be able to get rid of it just fine!

Thank you for the reply Opugirl.
I just can't believe all the things I am learning through this process. This one really threw me for a loop. Do you have any tips on building up your immune system, besides sleep/diet/detoxing? I have been in treatment for 5 months and improvement has been slow if at all.
I almost started to question if I even have lyme, because antibiotics don't seem to affect me noticeably. No herxes or anything.

I got tested for this but it was negative. There are natural treatments. I think byron white formulas has an A-T for it. You may have to get through your naturopath or LLMD.
Do you have cats. You can probably get this by inhaling fecal material when changing litter. Wear gloves and a mask when you do.

No cats. In fact I am allergic to cats so I avoid them at all costs. I am thinking that it may be due to undercooked meat? I have no idea. I did spend some time traveling internationally and I wasn't always sure what I was eating.
Just discouraged and sort of grossed out. I feel like my body is working against me.
