There are a lot of different protein powders out there... Nut milks, whey protein (not ok if you are allergic to dairy), soy protein, pea protein, egg, rice, oat, hemp, chia or other seeds...just stumbled into a website selling pimpkin seed powder as protein powder (I want some!).
I'd look for anything non-GMO & Organic, and try to stay away from grains, dairy, and soy. So that leaves other legumes/pea protein, nut milks (watch the sugar content!), seed proteins, egg, and plain amino acid powder (expensive, not as good as the whole food proteins for nutrition).
