my son seems to have come down with maybe a little flu bug or something.
this evening he started to feel nauseous, badly, and was warm to the touch. He said his stomach was hurting badly and just didn't look good.
I know stomach issues can come from abx, and actually are a pretty common symptom of his; but he's only been feverish once really in all of his time with lyme (since last fall), and usually does not feel nauseous. Even with 12+ weeks of abx he hasn't said he felt like he was going to throw up once, or been feverish.
so, I'm thinking it could be a virus maybe; I've read there's a flu going around.
My question, is…any advice on how to help him get over it faster?
I'm thinking water, absolutely no sugary foods (lately treats, here and there, have been slipping in at parties, etc.), extra vitamin D, epsom salt foot bath in the morning, lots of vitamin C and A foods tomorrow. (he's asleep right now)
Anything else? If it's not a bug, than I suppose it could be a bad herx in which case those things will help too.
Thanks for any thoughts.
