I was just looking through it and came to the "Bug-proof your summer" article and they listed some of the problem ones, which included the deer tick and saying "300,000 people get Lyme disease each year, more than previously thought according to the CDC." Kudos to them for mentioning it spreading that info.! They didn't do so well in short writeup about it, though, just saying it's common in the NE, upper Midwest, and the PNW. They did bring up the co-infections. They say the ticks have to be on your body for at least 36 hours to transmit Lyme, so that's the wrong info. as far as I know. Maybe some letters to the editor would help get all the correct info. out. Imagine how many letters they could get if it a lot of Lyme patients saw the article. It's the June, 2014 issue if anyone is interested.
