Having Chronic Lyme and Getting Another Bull's Eye Type Rash?

Hi guys, what happens if you have chronic Lyme, are taking antibiotics, and find a new bull's eye - type rash? A friend is dealing with this. She has a call in to her LLMD.

She was gardening last week and found the bull's eye this morning.

Mine has reappeared in the exact same spot before. Don't know if that is what's happening or if this is on a new area?

The bulls eye rash is the skin form of Lyme disease, just like we have the neurological form, and others. It could just reappear anywhere on the body during the course of her treatment or it could be a re-infection - there's really no way to tell for sure. I'm glad to hear that she has a call in to her doc - they may want to adjust her treatments.

Yes, happened to me again too, except there was an engorged tick in the middle. I had a MASSIVE bull's-eye rash, and I took pics (with my head in it, so people would know it was me). Boy, I stopped some doctors in their tracks.

The really weird thing, was that it was not a deer tick, but a dog tick.

You probably got bitten again. I think once you have Lyme, you're more likely to get reinfected, if that makes sense.
