Hi Everyone,
Could someone please explain why my body hurts so much after exercising? After doing yard work over the weekend, my body hurts so much. Last night I thought my bed was lumpy, till I realized my hip was swollen. I was really tired.

From what I understand exercise brings on a herx because it releases neuro toxins.

It could be you need to go at it slowly so your muscles can build up. I have to do that, otherwise I get way too stiff. Just the last month or so I've regained some arm muscles, probably from all the weed pulling. Some are quite a bit bit of tugging. I just came in from weeding and I feel that I did too much. I have a garden area that is probably close to an acre and the weeds thrive in the good soil. Seeds blow in, animals bring them it and who knows what else. Some just go to seed. So I always have a lot unless I cover the areas during the winter, which I did on part of it last year.
