Anxiety and Herxing

Could severe anxiety such as excessive crying cause a herx to come on or would it be that the anxiety is due to a herx? Bc I've been upset for the past few days and have been having the pinchy skin feeling which is a sign of a herx for me. Just trying to figure out which caused which!
