Who has taken Bactrim with Rifampin (and what dosage of Bactrim have you taken?)

I made another thread the other day looking for abx combos to treat Babs and Bart at once. I'm already on Rifampin and wish I could find another ABX to take with it to hit them both. I'm inclined to try Bactrim, but drugs.com interaction checker says it sometimes can cause liver damage? Anyone use this combination with success?

I do think bactrim can be very, very effective for bart and babs IMHO. I kept herxing years before I knew I had lyme +co to bactrim. It can cause liver damage but if you look up the warnings almost any antibiotic can. I would suggest it to your dr and see what their opinion is. Often times if I suggested stuff I wanted to try my LLMD was all for it.

The dosage of bactrim (SMZ/TMP DS* 800/160MG tab). I take 1.5 tabs twice a day. I pulse M-W-F
