my son's Igenex test results were: IgM all negative, except 41 IND and IgG 41 ++ and 39 IND, all else negative. llmd said, looks like lyme.
His test was looked at by an Infectious Disease Dr. at the University of Iowa Hospital, and the ID Dr. said to our pediatrician that:
"these test results are concerning; with the band 41 being positive. Definitely treat for lyme disease."
from what I understand, this isn't your typical ID Dr. response, but I'm thankful it was the one our pediatrician conferred with. (basically I was happy with the llmd's dx, but my husband wanted a 2nd opinion. We stuck with the llmds for treatment though, as the ID Dr. and pediatrician said three weeks abx would get it for sure. (Maybe there's hope for these two dr.s though, b.c at least they acknowledged the test.)
