I think Lyme disease in general is just like a bad horror movie. It is such a terrifying disease and horrifying disease in my opinion. I would have rather just caught the flu to be be honest.

They are spirochetes so they play dirty. They go places other bacteria can't go.

The worst part about it is the whole politics of the disease. Most doctors think oh there's nothing wrong with you, and you aren't on your death bed so go away. That and the testing is so inaccurate.

I agree! I think our bodies going through lyme is what inspires horror movies!! lol - that werewolf transformation ain't got nothin' on lyme!

I can handle horror movies - but I cant handle what i'm going through now.

That's why I'm petrified that my tests will be negative for Lyme...because then what do I have.
I mean what could cause this multitude of horrific symptoms?
I can barely function most evenings.

the pain (so many places)
the vibrations
the brain stuff
on and on and on

Hey guys, this was supposed to be funny, i.e., lift your mood!

The motive for it was not so funny though: My foot started swelling and turning red, and there were strange blue marks at the base of my toes. Meanwhile, my sock started leaving a mark on my ankle.

I started thinking about my thumb, and how the docs had to peel off my nail, my hernia, which the kids love to look at, because at pokes out like a little blue ball, my gut problems, etc. etc., and thought that it was almost like my body was morphing into something weird, like a pod person!

I was also thinking about an early 1980s David Lynch movie about a couple who has a strange baby, and the problems the baby has get weirder and weirder, and more and more surreal. That baby reminded me of my body.
