What could other reasons for a positive Lyme test be?

My LLMD does not inspire confidence and so I am wondering what else all this illness could be? He has done other tests includg for blood tests(?) for MS and Post polio markers (not usual conventional tests) and he says they are both positive. But does not order any treatment for all this!

So I am really doubting my Lyme experience and wonder if any of you have had other illness that is really the true cause of all this?

None. Unless your LLMD is wrong about everything. But most LLMDs are very, very thorough about testing.

I was just thinking, "For anyone who doubts his/her Lyme experience, you should watch my dog, and see the amazing transformation she undergoes when she is on 10 days of abx, specifically Doxy." Ten days at a time is all my vet allows, and then my dog has to take tons of probiotics for awhile before she takes another ten days. I'm going to start her on Samento for some of the in between days.

You may need another LLMD; I don't know.

Do you respond to treatment typically used for Lyme? If you respond to treatment, then you probably have Lyme.

I did not think the treatment was helping at all so I stopped taking it for a few days. And I could barely walk through the store yesterday. I felt wobbly and unsteady, and maybe that is
proof that this is Lyme. Or maybe that I have MS--cause isn't an abx effective on MS also??

Sorry I know that I am being a real pain....

how long did you give it before you gave up? you will feel much worse, including wobbly and unsteady, for at least weeks, before you get better (read about herxing) and that should mean the treatment is working. I didn't know to expect that either, was terrifying but read about it here and also called the Dr to confirm.
