Herbals on empty stomach...or ok with food?

I am doing Buhner's protocol and I didn't see anything on the website (and I haven't purchased the book) about whether or not to take on empty stomach.

I have been taking them...and ingesting food usually about 15 mins to 1/2 hour later.... not really thinking about the empty stomach vs. food.

I did read that some antibiotics are best on empty stomach...if you can handle it.

Yes mostly all medicines work best on an empty stomach. Herbals and or antibiotics. More will be absorbed into your blood stream like this. The issue is of course is if you can tolerate that. The medicines are generally more tolerable if taken with food.
