Advice About Treatment From Chronic Lyme Disease Experts??

I am seeking advice about treatment possibilities from the most well know physicians in the chronic Lyme "world."

In effort to keep this post short for all of you other Lyme victims, I won't go into detail about my current situation and get to the point.

Fortunately, I am able to travel as far as I need to in order to get help; however, I am becoming more desperate for treatment by the day. This level of desperation coupled with increasing neurological impairments has never led to beneficial decision-making in the past.

I have already done the natural/integrative treatment "thing." Although I do recognize the importance of herbs and supplements in getting well, I am not interested in doctors whose primary focus is on this. I am looking for doctors who treat from a medical standpoint (i.e. aggressive antibiotic approach).

Please PM me with any advice you have... preferably from first hand experience. Even better, post your info in this forum in hopes that others may benefit from this discussion. By now, I can usually figure out who people are referring to by "Dr (X) in (Connecticut)."

I am especially interested in feedback about Dr "J" in DC (by the way, has anyone read his preface in Ceasar's new book?? Powerful to say the least). Also, I haven't looked into him or his protocol very much at this point, but has anyone had experience with Dr "H" in New York??

I'm a support group leader of many years (the San Francisco Lyme Disease Support Group) and a success story. Due to my current schedule, I'm here only occasionally so email is best.

Dr. J. is probably the best known, and yes, Dr. H. no longer takes new patients, plus they don't answer the phone. I recommend Dr. L.

Look up ILADS conferences online, and you might find some there.

Also, read Pamela Weintraub's book, "Cure Unknown;" she mentions some of the best docs. Then, watch the movie, "Under Our Skin."
